Angelina and Russ met in 2015 at Russ’ 25th birthday party in Los Angeles. Angelina happened to be invited last minute by a mutual friend.  

Angelina and Russ had an instant connection from the first time they spoke in a small circle of friends, but the interaction was short lived.  By the end of the night, Angelina was nowhere to be found and Russ was “super bummed” that he never got her number. 

Luckily Russ’ friend, Jake was in touch with Angelina and began inviting her to group get togethers.  Through this, Angelina and Russ built a bond, but there was a problem… Russ wasn’t sure if Jake was looking to pursue a romance with Angelina.

One day after work, Russ gave Jake a call and told him he was going to make his move and ask Angelina out on a date.  Jake took a heavy sigh and reluctantly agreed with a caveat…. “If something happens, you owe me 20 bucks,” he said.  

Russ laughed, though payment was never made.  

The next day, Russ asked Angelina out on their first date.  The two went to a bar on Fairfax - had the time of their lives and have been inseparable ever since.  

Over the summer of 2021, Russ surprised Angelina when he took her to the house where they first met all of those years ago.  This time, the driveway was lined with rose petals.  Russ got on a knee and made it official.  

Angelina and Russ can’t wait to tie the knot and celebrate with loved ones as they continue their love story and build a family of their own.
